BRIEF
The Last Resort Artist Retreat (TLRAR), founded by multidisciplinary artist and Baltimore native Derrick Adams, sought to create an immersive Art Garden in Baltimore City in 2023. The goal was to provide a sanctuary for Black creatives to engage with art and nature, emphasizing leisure as therapy.
WHAT WE DID
As designers and fabricators, Raunjiba Creative collaborated closely with TLRAR to conceptualize and bring to life the Art Garden. Our team developed detailed 3D renderings to visualize the space, ensuring alignment with TLRAR's vision. We then fabricated and installed bespoke garden furnishings creating a harmonious blend of art and nature.
RESULT
The Art Garden became a serene haven for artists and visitors, fostering creativity and community engagement. The successful execution of the project enhanced TLRAR's mission to provide spaces for rest and rejuvenation for Black creatives, contributing to the cultural landscape of Baltimore City.
