The reimagined "Tide Water Pier" at the Baltimore Peninsula was envisioned as a vibrant community space that honors the city's rich shipping history while introducing modern elements. The project called for a creative redesign featuring a pop-up steel container marketplace, a synthetic grass movie screening field, and an augmented reality exhibition showcasing the evolution of the local shipping industry.

Raunjiba Creative developed a comprehensive design solution that seamlessly integrated history, technology, and community engagement. We crafted 3D renderings to visualize the pier's transformation, designed a modular steel container marketplace, and curated an augmented reality experience to bring the Baltimore shipping industry's heritage to life. Our design included a dynamic movie screening field, offering a relaxing and engaging space for visitors to gather.

RESULT

The revitalized Tide Water Pier has the potential to become a focal point for the Baltimore Peninsula, attracting locals and tourists alike. The marketplace supports small businesses, the movie screenings foster community connection, and the AR history exhibition educates visitors while celebrating Baltimore's maritime legacy.
